4th of July Memories Drawing winner!!!

Congrats to Tom Peterson on the 4th of July drawing for the 25 Patriot Jack!!

I am so glad I didn't say I'd pick the best entry in the July 4th Memories contest!!!!  Hope the rest of you enjoyed reading the entries as much as I did.  It really helped make my 4th special in that after reading some of the entries it brought back even more memories of July 4th's past.  Thanks so much to everyone that participated and I promise we'll do it again sometime.

Have to tell you all that we ended our 4th of July with a major light show.  They were forecasting severe weather and by 9:45 PM we had almost continual lightening in western sky.  About the same time the neighbors starting another round of fireworks so we enjoyed more fireworks their expense as well as one of the most incredible displays of lightening I've seen in years.  Just amazing.  The best part of the story...., no severe weather hit us!  Perfect ending to a fabulous weekend.  And you know, thanks to you guys, I didn't even think about missing out on camping this week!!!

    Greg,
Thank you very much for the awesome knife and thanks for the opportunity to share my memory and to read all of the great ones submitted by others. Reading everyone else's favorite memories from the 4th of July was great and made me think of days gone by....It was a fun contest to be a part of.

Got the Patriot Barlow yesterday from Greg. What an awesome little knife it is! I mainly collect Northfields and only have a handful of Tidioutes and GEC's but I may have to re-examine this strategy. The Tidioutes are such a sturdy bomb proof tank of a work knife. I really want to carry this one! It came super sharp with a great snap. Thanks again Greg!!!
