56 Three blades are here and they are kinda cool...
Okay, I'm convinced. You can get three blades in the 56 frame and still have a knife that doesn't feel like a club. Actually, it measured just .625" at the middle.

The shape of the frame of the 56 really best lends itself to having all the blades on one end. Otherwise, the knife just doesn't fit your hand right when you turn it end for end.

This way, the Hawkbill sits a bit high in your hand when you use the clip or the pen, but not uncomfortably so. It seems to drop into the first knuckle nicely when you're pushing the blade away from yourself. It is a bit uncomfortable to roll the knife 180 degrees to make a drawing cut (towards you) with either the Pen or Clip blade as the high sitting Hawkbill pushes into the palm of your hand.

Not my personal first choice as an EDC, but absolutely a very functional knife with a great combination of blades.
