First sightings of French Kate and photo's of the Templar!!

I hear that on Friday the first sightings of French Kate were made.  Details are still sketchy, but I'm she should be making her appearance soon.

Some of you also probably have had a glance at the Templar by now.  So what do you think?  Too medieval, over the top or an interesting variation????  Something you've gotta have or no way?

Interesting knife, but no Templars for me thanks.
Now French Kate on the other hand....
I could use a French Kate in my life!
    (Well, the knife maybe....)
Looking forward to seeing that one.

I'm not completely put off by it, but that particular acrylic doesn't crank my tractor. Anxious to see what the others look like. Where's Kate?? I missed her...

Not sure yet what I think of that... I guess I am not a fan of that acrylic. Looking forward to seeing what this looks like with other handle materials.

I gotta have it...It reminds me of a smaller version of an old Barn door hinge knife and I loved that knife. But from a colectors perspective. How about a user that thinks they may like it. Johnny? What do you think will it clean trout?

I really like the bolsters . New is good. .Snakewood or rose wood would make those bolsters pop.. As for cleaning trout. A wooden spoon with those bolsters ,and I could clean fish, toenails, nose hair and maybe sticky spots... I'll take one.

Well, if it's a "Templar" knife, shouldn't it be Dogwood instead?

Hmmmm, interesting thought!  I know it's plenty tough to be used for a knife handle.

I haven't decided what to think of it yet. I like the long slim blade, but not sure about the barn door hinges. It looks neat, I'm just not sure it's my style.

Beautiful knife. I've seen antique knives with this type of bolster. The handles and bolsters remind me of the old German straight razors with the celluloid handles and fancy nickle silver bolsters. The muskrat type blade is perfect on the Templar. Great look...a winner!

TEMPLARS..I tried one out, thought it a little flimsy at first but pocket friendly. Now it's grown on me and it's one of my EDCs for light duties.I might get another one just for keeps.Cheers GREG..
