New Steel version of the 73's with a Lanyard Tube!!
Here's the latest regarding a new twist on the popular 73's. In the next 30-60 days we'll see both a Tidioute and a Northfield 73 with the following features.
Both the Tidioutes and Northfields will have two blades, Brass lanyard tube, steel bolsters and liners. Then there will be a few differences between the two as follows.

- Smooth Shield
- No Blade etch (?)
- Ken Daniels Tube Label
- Cocobolo Wood 75 pieces
- Jigged Bone (unknown color) 75 pieces
- UN-X-Ld blade 'stamp'
- No Blade 'etch'
- Smooth cloud shaped shield
- Double Pulls on BOTH blades
- Normal Northfield tube label
- Burnt Stag 50 pieces
- Ebony Wood 75 pieces
- JIgged Bone (unknown color) 75 pieces



Great news for the Northfield - blade stamp, lanyard, old label & double pulls. Wow, if GEC was going to make some changes to the already great #73 they have really knocked the top off on this one! Can't wait to see it!

I would like to see the same changes on the single blade.
Here is a thought. Take the 73 frame with these changes add some gen stag and make the blade a Cotton Sampler!!!

Wow! Exciting news regarding a 73 with a lanyard hole. I have always liked the 72, but always would have preferred a 73 if it had a lanyard hole. I am certainly looking forward to seeing these.
