Four New Pattern Names Released this Morning!!!

Did you check the production schedule listing on the Great Eastern page this morning?

Production Schedule 2011

Upcoming Pocket Knife Projects to Ponder
  • Calf Roper
  • Full House
  • French Kate
  • Whaler ~ 5th Year Anniversary Knife
Let the speculation begin.  The best I could get out of GEC is the 5th Anniversary Knife wouldn't be ready until the Rendezvous in July.

      Ya, the French Kate pattern should have some nice sexy curves to it, I would imagine.

    The Full House pattern sounds poker related, but there already is a "Gambler" pattern out. I think it might be the first 5 bladed knife. Yup, gotta be 5 blades in that one.

    I dunno what a French Kate is, but a Calf Roper is probably some form of a stockman or a baby cattle baron. The Full House has gotta be the long-awaited 6-bladed Muskrat, and a whaler is a small sheepsfoot single-blade rope knife with a lanyard hole.

    The "Calf Roper" is maybe a smaller version of the Cattle Rancher?

      Good find Mike! I'm thinking it will be a smaller version of the Ben Hogan.
      Might even come with a pink handle ;}

    whalers have always been a single blade sheepsfoot with lanyard hole as mentioned above.{also known sometimes as a rope knife}

    calf ropers i have seen in a variety of patterns.from stockmans to single blades.all of which just had "calf roper" etched on the main blade.
    the "french kate" i have no clue.

    the full house-my best guess would be a 5 blade stockman. hope everyone has been well.-pete

    on the french kate knife,after doing a little reading,i would have to agree with STEFAN.maybe a small fixed blade of some sort."gamblers knife" or a Ladies knife....the knife a woman of pleasure use to carry.either way cant wait to see it!
