New 23's , Primitive Bone, Black Plum, Linerlocks, 2 blades, etc
Just gotta love those big 23's!!! The Primitive Bone End Cap Single Blades, End Cap 2 blades and a Black Plum Linerlock came in this afternoon. Very nice!!! If you like the natural fractures in the Primitive Bone, you'll definitely like these. Very rustic.
I recently received 2 of the beautiful #2351 Northfields in Black Plum. The color in these is a very appealing dark burgundy, very much like a dead-ripe plum color.
An added bonus I found with the long pull on the Northfields is the extra leverage I get in opening the blade. Makes those bear trap springs just a little easier to negotiate.
Besides, those long match striker pulls are gorgeous!

From time to time I've noted that i believe that GEC could do a better job with some of the handle materials on their knives. Well , they hit the bulls eye with these. As a group, this batch of primitive bones is the best I've seen.

This was THE best lot of Primitive I think I've seen and probably one of the quickest sellers I've had as well. Part of it has to do with the fact they were 23's but the handle material made a difference.
Next week we'll see the 73's!
