GEC Bottle Openers are on the way!!

If you haven't seen the new Bottle Openers, here's a preview from the GEC Website.

What a cool piece of nostalgia for those of you old enough to 'remember when'.  These are coming through in relatively limited numbers in a great assortment of handle materials with the Unburnt Stag and St Patty's Acrylic arriving next week.  Almost all of these will be runs of 10 or fewer per handle material.

Unburnt Stag
St Patty's Acrylic

Yellow Jigged Bone
Antique Amber
River Valley Green
Goldenrod Wave
Red Jig Bone
Snakewood
Bocote
Curly Maple
Ebony
Brazilian Cherry
All metal    50

By the way, notice anything unique about the picture?

There is a bottle opener on the tray, but the bottles are twist-offs?

I was actually thinking of the Great Eastern Plaque hanging on the wall, but I'll go along with the bottle opener on the tray.

I saw the plaque but didn't comment on it since I assumed it was a brand stamp on the photo and not supposed to be part of the scene. It is covering a pan and hanging off the cabinet so it didn't look like it was on the wall to me.

Just giving you a bad time about the 'plaque' on the wall.  Thought the opener on the tray was neat.

They also changed/added features to the last #25 Jack Orange Jig and the BJM pics. I guess it will be a tradition. Add a little something GEC.

    Greg,

Those are really cool! Congrats to who thought of those over at GEC; had to been the beer-drinkers.....right after they finally lost their last Church Key.

Save me a red jig bone one, please. Gotta have me a GEC Church Key!

    Thanks,

    Stefan

You know, I just realized that I may have inadvertently played a role in the need for this 'tool'!

There's a story to be told, but I'd better wait for the statute of limitations to run out!!!!!
