Here's another long time fan of DMT Diamond hones.
After trying most everything that came on the market I now use the DMT hones exclusively and have for several years.
No mess, easy to use and maintain a super sharp edge in no time.
I love my set of DMT Diamond hones, right down to the Extra Extra Fine that I finish up with just before a final polish of the edge on leather.
Can't go wrong with a set of these.

Stones on top and Strop on the bottom. All attached with Gorilla Glue on a free paint stirring stick. That little tool rides under the seat in the Jeep and handles anything from the smallest pen blade to a decent sized camp axe.

A Jeep to keep it in is kind of a nice idea too....
