AR15 shooters...ever hear of RedXArms???
Gotta let you AR shooters know about a Minnesota based company I just ran across a few weeks ago at a local gunshow. It's a company that goes by the name RedXArms and you can check out their website at www.RedXArms.com Young fella (young, as in under 40) is building up AR15 uppers and offering a full assortment of parts, bolt asmbly's, barrels etc. I ended up doing some trading for a Great Eastern knife and a little cash for a great 16" stainless barreled upper with a quad rail hand guard and gas block. The Bushnell red/green dot Trophy 1x32 was my own addition.

The fit and finish is excellent, the price is right and Neil will put together just about any combination of options you can ask for.
I mated the upper to a complete lower I picked up through GunBroker with absolutely the roughest trigger pull I've ever encountered. I'm not exaggerating when I say the trigger pull has to be around 10-12#'s over rough gravel. In fact, the first 3 shots, I had to assist the trigger forward to engage it for the next shot. It did smooth out enough to fully reset, but there's gonna be some major work done to it this winter.
In spite of the rough trigger, Neil's upper shot like a dream. It was breezy and raining at the range, but these tired old eyes were still able to keep 5 rounds inside 3" at 100 yds with some RORG SS109 ammo using the Bushnell 1x32 MP sight. I've got a DPMS lower with a Chip McCormick match trigger I wish I would have this this upper on. For a 16" light barrel and a 4 position collapsible stock, I've got no complaints whatsoever. Nice setup and great folks to deal with!!!

I can verify this as I have done business with Neil and bough one of upper recievers and barrels for a build of mine. The finished rifle can be viewed here:

Shoots like a dream and I couldn't be happier with the finish.

Very nice. I just had mine on the range yesterday and I'm super pleased with it.

Just saw Neil this weekend at the Detroit Lakes Gunshow. He had some really nice uppers and a couple of assembled AR's for sale. Great looking items!
