Great Eastern Cultery International Photo Contest Entries Needed!!!!
The pix are dribbling in slowly and in the US, it looks like the southern states are kickin' butt. I hate to turn this into a North / South thing, but ...... And Pennsylvania, no one in Pennsylvania owns a Great Eastern knife there proud of?? I know better than that.
Overseas pix have been slow to come in and I've had promises of photos from Australia, Argentina, CANADA!!!!!!, come on guys, don't be shy.
Remember, there's not only bragging rights involved, theres a monetary award as well. And it doesn't matter where you purchased your knife (as long as it was legally purchased), this isn't about photo's from TSA Knife customers, it's about Great Eastern Knife collectors/users around the world.
Just to remind you, its simple. Just send in a pic of 1, 2, 3 of your Great Eastern knives and where in the world your located to greg@tsaknives.com . They'll be posted on the website for the world to see at www.tsaknives.com/collectorpix .

Good morning Greg. Perfect timing. I was hoping for some sunshine today for my picture. Raining now. I just sent in a quick shot of my new favorite EDC.

Hey Greg,
I will be taking care of PA shortly... I will try to take a picture this evening. This photo contest is a great idea.

Living basically in the stone age I don't even have a digital camera, (or any other kind for that matter), and wouldn't know how to do pics on my computer in any case.
I do however enjoy all the photos everyone shares here and this is a great little contest.
Fun to see what everyone has.
Wish I could share mine too.

Dave,
I was telling Donnie about your dilemma. He says you could always just pack 'em up, send them to Florida, with a local newspaper. We would be happy to help you out, what are friends for after all!! Don't feel bad, Donnie had to wait for me to get home this time to be able to enter ours.

Wow! Such a deal!
True friends rock!
(Gotta think this one through a bit though.......)
Thanks for your thoughtfulness!

Oops. No wait...it won't work.
Again, being basically in the stone age, I don't even get the local paper!
(No TV or telephone either. Oh the peace and quiet....) Just my lonely ol' computer.
Would it work to send a tarantula or something instead?
I think it's the Arizona state critter.

My Friend,
NO SPIDERS. However, it just so happens that I own a coffee mug that has an AZ theme. (Donnie's traveling days) So if our judges will allow (knowing your obvious handicap) for some team work and you tell me what knife to use. I think we could still accommodate your entry. What do our judges think?

I have no problem with legitimate collaboration. I personally know he's located in AZ and I also know for certain he owns a Great Eastern knife. AND, I defiinitely condone helping the handicapped any way possible. I would prefer a pattern that Dave actually owns (which I'm pretty sure would be doable).

OK Dave,
You heard the judge. Tell me what knife to use, pretty sure I got one of them. You may want to see if Greg would like to give a tarantula as a prize since you apparently have one that needs a new home.

OK kid....here ya go.
My favorite GEC is the #23, 2007 date, "left hand" version, with Spey main blade and Muskrat secondary blade, in Green Mountain Bone, (or River Blue Bone).
You no doubt have several of these.....
(I have 6)
On the outside chance you didn't snag one of these, my edc favorite is the #538308 Stockman, in Horse Cut Green Tea Jigged Bone, (or Red Wine Bone).
Surely you have several.
(I only have 8).
OR
My hip pocket knife is always a #2351 of some type. Either the Yellow Rose, Smooth Bone, or the Liner Lock in Black Plum Jigged Bone, (or Burnt Goldenrod Bone).
No prize Tarantulas on hand at present but we did find a Black Widow Spider in the duct work when I changed the filter.
Can't send her either as I took her outside and let her go.
(I love little critters of all kinds.
She was probably somebody's Mother.)

She was indeed somebody's mother as I'm pretty sure I've dealt with him!!!

Yep, The Americans With Disabilities Act covers assistance for the computer illiterate, (like me). Covered at the bottom of page 1,728 of the Act, in the "fine print" at the bottom of the page.
You will have a warm fuzzy feeling knowing you "helped".....

Looks like PA finally showed up in the Pictures. Nice showing Nick. Florida leads the way with two (thanks Chris F.). I really thought we would get a lot more interest in this contest. I like the idea of showing off our knives and our states. Remember folks Greg has TSA money to share with the winner!!
