Update to the Production Schedule
Found out this morning that the Rotten Banana Serpentine Jack production will be interrupted to get the Stags out ASAP. The Rotten Banana's are getting ready to be released so I'm guessing we could see the Stags MAYBE midweek next week???
Now, who cares that the Rotten Banana run is being interrupted??? ME!! Here's why. Understand right up front that I'm NOT saying this is what's gonna happen, but rather what COULD happen. Anytime a run gets interrupted a couple of possiblities can/will occur.

- At some future point the run will be completed. (probable and forget we had this conversation)
- Other production could take precedence and the run never gets completed. (possible, and remember I told you so!)
- IF the run isn't completed, the excess handle material COULD get used up on some 'Orphan Knives'. (hopefully)
This is exactly how "OK" knives come into existence.
Will there be a shortage of the Rotten Banana Serpentine Jack's? Maybe, maybe not. The production is going to cover the orders that distributors have on the books plus a few extras so as long as sales don't outstrip those orders, no problems. How many are going to be run, I don't know.
There's a lot of "if's" and "maybe's", involved in this equation, but this happens more often than we probably know and it's information and speculation like this that can make collecting fun.

If Great Eastern Knives in themselves weren't so much fun you might do well with a Gypsy wagon and a distributorship in crystal balls.
Like you don't have enough to do already......

Okay....who spilled the beans??? The crystal ball franchise announcement wasn't supposed to be made until the wagon and burro arrived. The organ grinder's been hired but he's having some problems with the monkey. He'd ordered a chimp and got a silver back gorilla instead. Nothin's easy I guess!!!

Greg,
I asked you not to tell anyone I got taken on that chimp deal. The good news is the gorilla is to big to take nickles and pennies, he likes bills. Just might keep him!!
