Just in: Short Run 50's & 60's and the Jigged Yellow Rose Cattle Baron's Arrived

First things first.  The next of the Cattle Baron's with Jigged Yellow Rose handles arrived on Saturday.

Also in the box were a couple more EDC's including a Cattle Baron Yellow Rose and a Mink Antique Amber.  These EDC's are an incredibly good value.

Most exciting is a group of very short run GEC #50 and #60's.  These are all GEC Trademarked.  Total production run break down is as follows:
  • Cocobolo #50  ~ 8
  • Cocobolo #60  ~ 9
  • Green Diamond Wood #50 ~ 5
  • Green Diamond Wood #60 ~ 6
  • Black Diamond Wood #50 ~ 7
  • Black Diamond Wood #60 ~ 6

Something I probably haven't emphasized previously is the quality of the leather sheath GEC is using.  I don't know who the manufacturer is, but they're putting these knives in some really nice heavy leather.

Jan, if you happen to read this, one of these would make a great camp kitchen knife!!!
