Christine offers her thanks!!!!

I just had the privilege of talking to Christine this morning and informed her that her name would no doubt be entering the cutlery history books as being the namesake of the much beloved Great Eastern Cutlery Beaver.  Chris was busy celebrating the 4th of July holiday and hadn't had an opportunity to check on the blog since last Thursday.  As a result, she didn't have a clue of the frenzied campaigning that went on Friday nite into Saturday.  She reluctantly allowed a short interview which I'll paraphrase as I'm not good at taking notes.

"..... I'm flattered and appreciate all the kind words.... It's an honor to be recognized in this manner......"

As I understand it, she was mimicking the Queen mum's royal wave (a subtle turn of the wrist while wearing a subdued smile) all the while we chatted.

Hopefully, we can get her to post a few words when she gets an opportunity.

Greg

I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and even the ones who didn't because everyone really made this fun. I hope to someday be able to meet everyone on here but since they chain me to my chair here at GEC you will have to come to the factory....lol.

No No No. I am not going to the factory. Chris will be sitting with her Tiara on (Giving the Queen wave)while all of her unworthy subjects line up to kiss the ring.(GEC trademarked)

I can see it now "OFF with his head!" or "Take him away to the salt mines!"

I just do not want to take the chance.

Maybe when she is gone on vacation.

      Hmmmm.
