And the #66 is...... (a correction)
There's going to be a Special Edition of the #66 run for the Great Eastern Rendezvous coming up in July. It's a Special Edition in a couple of ways. One of the primary factors making it a "Special Edition" is that the Rendezvous knife will not be the finalized version but here's the specs on the Special Ed.
- 3.5" OAL Closed
- Round Bolstered Serpentine Muskrat
- 2 Clip Blades
- One Blade
etchedTang Stamped "Tidioute", one bladeetchedTang Stamped "Northfield" - Abalone Handles
- Limited Run of 30 Knives available at the Rendezvous
This won't be the 'final' version of the #66 as my understanding is there will be a change in the blade configuration after this initial run. I don't have the specs regarding thickness, depth etc, but will share that info when I get it.
We've had a little contest going with some of you offering up guesses as to what the #66 was going to be and I really didn't think we'd find out this quick. So what I'll do is keep the speculation going a bit longer to find out what you think the blade combo will end up being in the 'regular' run series. Let's run through the weekend and we'll have a drawing next week to find out who the lucky winner will be.
Update Note: I previously stated the blades would be "etched" with the Tidioute and Northfield trademarks, they will definitely be "Tang Stamped" as such but I'm not sure about the etch yet.

Well, I thought a Muskrat was to have two of the same, but I'll guess clip and spear.
