and the winner of a new 610410 Congress is............
This has been a long time coming and I know more then a few of you had completely given up hope that I'd ever carry through on this drawing. BUT.... it's taken a LOOOoooong time to see a new blade config on the Congress' since it was first talked about.
The upside is that it's a great looking knife and the spear blade compliments the pen blade fantastically. The two wharncliffe's are a nice change from the original sheepsfoot blades. Plus, they end up giving the knife a slightly lower profile with the Wharncliffe's making an even more pocket friendly knife.
The downside is we're only going to see a few of these knives produced with the spear blade before ths combo is retired.
So with drum roll playing in the background............

the winner is...............

Stefan T. from the great state of Texas! Congrats, the knife is in the mail!

The knife came today! It's the one in the picture, serial number 14. It's a really nice knife, the fit and finish is excellent.
This is my first Tidioute, and my first ever congress pattern. This is one cool knife.
I like the blade combo; the spear point blade is just as long as the sheepsfoot blades, only the pen is smaller. The way the blades close together is amazing. There's gotta be an art to this, it's that precise.
I'd like to publicly thank Greg and the folks at GEC for this wonderful knife.
