- 89 Northfield Burnt Stag Long Wharncliffe, Pen, Coping
The 89 Northfield Burnt Stags with the Long Wharncliffe blade will come through around the first of December. Also worth mentioning, I"m told there's a note on "the calendar" indicating we may see a 61 Congress by years end with a new blade configuration. Not sure if that note was written in ink or in pencil, but it's worth watching!!!
Another rather interesting knife coming up is a 73 in "Lemon Zest" bone. I say interesting in that this is a color that will NEVER be repeated. Evidently, for some unknown reason, the dyeing process resulted in an unintended color that would be virtually impossible to reproduce. There's a total of around 48 of these coming through without serial numbers and as I was emphatically told, we'll never see the color repeated.

this might be impossible to know right now, but i'm wondering if you might be getting any non-serialized 89 northfield stags.

I don't have any non-serialized ordered, but I can sure request some.

It seems to me like maybe GEC has botched a good marketing opportunity. Instead of 48 knives in "Oops Color Smooth Bone". Why not just call it an exclusive release of a "Custom" color; 48 knives in "Lemon Zest Smooth Bone"...?
