73 Linerlock owners comments
I receive the following comments from a customer and wanted to share them with you. Chris just bought a #73 Linerlock from me and had the following to say:
"Looks great and the Stag forms perfect to my hand incredible! I'm really getting allot of use out of it, also once opened it's very comfortable to use. My wife grabbed it from me the other day and also made a comment how sharp and nicely it cut threw cardboard . Something I've noticed is the blade's not as grabby as a 440c blade is, 1095 is truly razor sharp and is thus far maintaining it's sharpness. It's Classy design doesn't scare non knifer types, while maintaining the 3 inch blade which I prefer. My Kershaw Leek while a great knife would most likely get confiscated in Virgina, this knife wouldn't even get a second look due to it's classic profile.

One thing I'm curious about is GEC's customer service and warranty as good as CASE? If for some reason this knife developed a crack would GEC replace or repair this knife as CASE does? If so I think it's worth mentioning on your site. Allot of folks including myself get on CASE for their declining product but I must say their customer care is awesome.
Just a few thoughts, Chris"

Chris, couldn't agree more with your comments regarding the feel of the #73. I think Jaxon would probably join the chorus.
Regarding GEC's warranty, when things were starting up a little over a year ago, there was some grumbling posted on some of the bulletin boards regarding quality and a few folks bitching about the turnaround time to get adjusments made. I think GEC very quickly took the proverbial bull by the horns and turned both situations around. In my humble opinion, the quality has improved immensely. The main complaint I've heard lately, is the quality of the Stag can be inconsistent and my understanding is that's a problem for lots of knife makers currently.
On the subject of warranty. I've never actually seen a statement of lifetime, forever, 90 days or anything else. The few issues I've come across were handled promptly and without question. MY experience/gut feeling is that if you've got a legitimate quality issue with the knife, they'll take care of it. Start prying nails out and break a blade, they may be a little less willing to 'make it right'. Anyone buying a GEC from TSA Knives has a legitimate, unresolved issue, I'll be glad to go to bat for you.
Turnaround time on a repair can vary. This is a small company that has been incredibly prolific in coming out with new items. I think to a large part it can depend on what's going on inside that will sometimes determine how fast you're 'turned back out'. I've sold 'many' hundred of the GEC knives and so far.....I'm impressed.

Yep. I haven't had any warranty issues (yet) and I hope not. I do sure like the feel of the 73s. Two in the day to day now and another on the way.
